MyTaxCount India provides free, web-based calculators to help Indian citizens estimate:

• GST (Goods and Services Tax) on various spending categories
• Indirect taxes including excise duty, customs duty, and state levies
• Income tax liability under India's new tax regime (FY 2026-27)
• Comparative tax insights and educational content

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

3. User Responsibilities

When using MyTaxCount India, you agree to:

• Provide accurate input data for calculations (we do not verify your entries)
• Use the Service for lawful purposes only
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
• Not use automated scripts or bots to access the Service excessively
• Not misrepresent your identity or affiliation

• MyTaxCount India is developed by financial literacy advocates, not licensed tax professionals.
• Calculations are based on publicly available government notifications but may contain errors or omissions.
• Tax liability depends on individual circumstances, deductions, exemptions, and interpretations of law.
• Always consult a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or refer to official government sources (CBIC, Income Tax Department) for personal tax filing.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on MyTaxCount India — including text, graphics, logos, calculator logic, and code — is the property of MyTaxCount India or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international copyright laws.

You may:

• Use the calculator for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Share results via WhatsApp or social media with attribution
• Link to our pages from your website

You may NOT:

• Republish, sell, or commercially exploit our content without written permission
• Scrape or automate data extraction from the Service
• Remove copyright notices or attribution

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, MyTaxCount India and its contributors shall not be liable for:

• Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in calculator results

Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed ₹100 (one hundred rupees).

The Service may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., CBIC, GST Portal) or display ads via Google AdSense. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or accuracy. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and them.
